Samsung schedules Galaxy A event for April 10

Last month Samsung announced the Galaxy A30 and the Galaxy A50. Missing from the announcement was the Galaxy A10 which was also a handset that was rumored could be announced alongside the other phones. More recently, there were reports claiming that in addition to the Galaxy A10, there could also be devices like the Galaxy A20e, Galaxy A40, and Galaxy A90 in the works as well.

The good news is that if these are devices that you are looking forward to, then you'll be pleased to learn that Samsung has confirmed on Twitter that on the 10th of April, 2019, they will be hosting an event that will be focusing on the Galaxy A series. We don't know for sure what will be officially announced, but all those leaks certainly leave little to the imagination.

The Galaxy A series of smartphones are a mid-range lineup from Samsung, but in more recent times Samsung has actually been including higher-end specs and features that were previously reserved for their flagships.

This includes features like dual and triple cameras, huge displays with high resolutions, decent amounts of RAM, and in the case of the Galaxy A50, an in-display fingerprint sensor. This makes the phones even more value for money than before, and if you'd rather not drop $1,000 on the Samsung Galaxy S10, then perhaps these phones might be worth keeping an eye out for.

We'll be looking out for the details of these devices so do check back with us in the coming weeks for the official rundown.
