Huawei accidentally leaks the P30 series on its website

Last month Huawei confirmed that instead of launching the P30 series at MWC, they would instead choose to launch the handset at their own event in Paris on the 26th of March. The event will be taking place in the next few days, but it appears that someone at Huawei had let the cat out of the bag earlier than expected.

The Huawei P30 series was spotted on Huawei's own website although the page has since been taken down, but it gives us an official look at what the phone will look like, some of its features, and also some of the potential freebies that Huawei could be giving to customers who buy the phone.

This includes a free Huawei Watch GT Active Edition and the JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker, but we should note that this is the Huawei Singapore website, so this offer might be different in other countries. The website also confirms features of the phone such as its color options and also its Leica camera system with a 10x hybrid zoom.

The website does not mention the exact specs of the phone, but based on what we had previously heard, we're looking at the use of the Kirin 980 processor, 6-8GB of RAM, and 6.1-inch and 6.47-inch displays for the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro respectively. In any case, we should have all the official details next week, so if the P30 or P30 Pro are handsets you were planning on getting, do check back with us on the 26th of March where we'll have more updates for you.
