The Huawei P30 Pro has a lot going for it, but no one will deny that its new 5X telephoto periscope lens is one of the most exciting things we've seen in smartphone photography in a very, very long time. It's true that Huawei isn't the first to show off this camera tech (Oppo showed off its 160mm camera lens at MWC), but they are the first to actually release a smartphone with it.
The other unique camera capabilities of the Huawei P30 Pro include a new RYYB sub- Pixel array on the sensor which allows 40% more light to be absorbed, a sensor that's 125% larger than what you get on the iPhone Xs and Samsung Galaxy S10, an f/1.6 lens and a new AI-assisted OIS system which allows users to capture handheld long exposure images.
Do you think the Huawei P30 Pro is a better buy when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S10+?
