Meet Oppo’s latest flagships, the Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro

These days smartphone hardware has kind of peaked, where the difference in performance from one generation to the other is no longer as big of a jump compared to the early days. This means that companies need to find ways to make their phones stand out, and it looks like displays are the way to go.

Oppo has announced its latest flagship smartphones in the form of the Oppo Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro, both of which will be utilizing a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to Oppo, this is the "most advanced" screen in the industry, where they are professionally calibrated at the factory before leaving. It also boasts a 240Hz touch sampling rate, which in theory should make it smoother and more responsive to the touch.

In addition to boasting what seems like a pretty fantastic-sounding display, Oppo is also introducing a triple camera combination for the Find X2 Pro handset. This will consist of a 48MP wide-angle lens, a 48MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens. The cameras are also capable of 10x hybrid zoom and will sport a brand new OIS chip that should result in less blurry photos and videos.

As for the rest of the phone's hardware, the Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro will be using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 chipset and will also support 5G connectivity. The phones will also sport 4,200mAh and 4,260mAh batteries respectively, both of which will also come with SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology, where Oppo claims that the phones can be fully recharged in as little as 38 minutes.

The Oppo Find X2 series will be offered in either a black ceramic finish or a orange vegan leather finish.
