The LG 60 ThinQ 5G will make its retail debut on March 20th for $799.99!. No, that's not a typo. Somehow, LG has managed to deliver a 2020 flagship smartphone with an incredible spec sheet that doesn't even come close to the $1,000 threshold.
As you might expect, the LG V60 at $800 doesn't come with the detachable second screen. If you choose to bundle the two, T-Mobile will sell you both for $900 or you can pay $950 if you pick them up together from Verizon. The LG V60 will also be heading to AT&T, but pricing details form the carrier have yet to be shared.

All things considered, the LG V60 is an impressive device. Like Samsung's new flagship smartphones, it's rocking the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which means you'll also be getting 5G connectivity. LG's also included a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, 128GB of storage, a triple camera system with a 64MP main sensor, 13MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens and 3D ToF depth sensors. It also has a 10MP selfie camera, 8K video recording and a 5,000 mAh battery that keeps this phone running for days. And let's not forget that 3.5mm headphone jack.
Based on the specs, Samsung's new smartphones have a few advantages over the LG V60. The higher resolution displays and 12GB of RAM are likely the most costly features that Samsung has over LG's device. If you simply need all the bells and whistles, Samsungs phones have the upper hand. But if all you want is a new phone with great performance, a good camera and a unique dual-screen case, the LG V60 may be the better option while saving you hundreds of dollars.
