Samsung Galaxy S10 leak reveals ‘in the wild’ image, reverse wireless charging

As we inch our way closer to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10, many of the device's smaller details are finally being revealed. A new Tweet from Evan Blass includes a photo of the Samsung Galaxy S10. While the background has been cropped out and on-screen details have been blurred, the image gives up a good look at the front of the phone, the bezels around the display and the punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.

Unlike the photo of the pre-production Galaxy S10 that surfaced last month, this variant of the phone does have a curved display. The bezels around the screen are pretty symmetrical as well with a thin call speaker crammed in at the very top. The overall design looks like it's close to being finalized, so we shouldn't see any significant changes between now and when the phone is officially unveiled in February.

A followup Tweet from Evan also indicates that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will include reverse wireless charging, allowing the phone to charge compatible smartphones or smartwatches. This would be the first time we see this feature on a Samsung smartphone, but it has been implemented before on devices like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 and its different variants are among the most anticipated devices of 2019 and will likely set the bar for all other flagship smartphone released this year.
