Google Maps update helps you avoid a ticket by showing you where speed cameras are hidden

It looks like Google Maps is adopting yet another Waze feature. This time around it's speed trap reporting, a useful tool for avoiding a ticket for speeding. Not that you should be speeding…

The feature seems to be a very gradual server-side rollout as most people are still not seeing speed traps. It's likely that we're going to have to wait a while to see a wide rollout but I'm excited to see it coming to Google Maps. Hopefully more Waze features make it over to the superior navigation app.
