While most of the world begins looking to Barcelona as Samsung prepares to unveil its 2018 flagship at MWC 2018, Xiaomi is working on a new flagship of its own. The Xiaomi Mi 7 has been rumored and teased for some time, but a new screenshot may reveal some key spec information.
A leaked screenshot shows off some of the specs for the upcoming Mi 7, including 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. This screenshot also reveals that the device will feature a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080.
We can also see that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will feature a 4,480mAh battery, along with a dual-camera setup with dual-16MP sensors. The last bit of information shared by the screenshot is the Snapdragon 845 chipset, but this was already confirmed at the Qualcomm Summit where the chipset was announced.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Mi 7 will make its debut at MWC 2018, but there are reports circulating that this won't be the case. Instead, Xiaomi will push back the launch of its 2018 flagship, and reveal the Mi Mix 2S. This move will likely be due to the fact that Samsung will be showing off the Galaxy S9 lineup at the event.
Nonetheless, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is shaping up to be quite the impressive device. Be sure to let us know what you think about the Mi 7 in the comments below.
