By now, we all know that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be unveiled at MWC 2018. However, the company is beginning to ramp up anticipation as Samsung has released three new teaser videos through the Samsung Mobile Korea YouTube channel.
These are teasers in the true sense of the word, as each trailer is just 15 seconds long. The first of these videos, gives us a taste of how fast the devices will actually be, with fast cars, skydiving, and more in the video. However, if you watch the end of the video, there's a slight hint of slow motion, suggesting that the devices could have slo-mo video capture in-tow.
The second of these videos suggest that low-light camera performance will be vastly improved. The entire video is dark until the very end, when you see the deer look at the couple walking through the woods, and the deer's face is automatically enhanced. This falls in line with rumors that the Galaxy S9 lineup will see new low-light camera technology, including a possible sensor with a variable aperture.
The last teaser shared is more upbeat, and shows a gentleman going through his day, leading up to his birthday dinner. At the end when the man smiles, a brief overlay is placed on his face. This may suggest that Samsung will, in fact, introduce some type of 3D emoji competitor to take on Apple's Animoji from the iPhone X.
Samsung will be unveiling its latest devices on February 25th, and reminds everyone of that at the end of each video where it states "Galaxy 2018.02.25". The company will be live-streaming its launch event, making it possible for everyone around the world to watch the unveiling, even if you aren't able to make it out to the event in Barcelona.
Let us know in the comments what your favorite rumored feature of the Galaxy S9 lineup is. Could it be the redesigned camera module with the new fingerprint scanner? Maybe it's the variable aperture that we have been seeing teased and rumored over the last few months.
