If you've been using Android Wear for the last couple of months you may have noticed an annoying issue. Users discovered that disabling the "Ok Google" voice detection drastically improved performance. Obviously, "Ok Google" is one of the main ways to interact with Android Wear devices. Disabling the feature is not something you should have to do. Google is finally fixing this problem.
Folks in the Android Wear subreddit discovered that the latest update has resolved the laginess associated with "Ok Google." Make sure you have version 7.19.18.25arm of the Google app on your watch, turn "Ok Google" detection off and then on, reboot the watch, and it should be working better. Hurray! Did you notice this issue on your smartwatch?
