Pixel 4 renders reveal front of the phone, triple rear-camera setup

The Pixel 4 rumors mill has been spinning for a while now, but a new render of the phone from @OnLeaks gives us our first detailed look at what the front of the phone may look like while also revealing a few other details that may have previously been missed.

Since the video and images you see here are unofficial renders, there's a good chance that some of the details could be different from the final version of the phone. We'll start with the back of the Pixel 4 and the square camera module. Google surprised everyone when it shared an official image of the phone a few weeks back. The dark image showed two distinct camera lenses on the back with a third dot which appeared to be too small to be a third lens. Fortunately, the OnLeaks renders imply that there will, in fact, be a third camera lens on the back of the Pixel 4 which would complement the 16MP sensor & telephoto lens which leaked just this past week.

Moving on to the front of the pixel 4, the render reveals that Google will be dropping the front-facing stereo speakers that have been a prominent feature in its phones for years. The good news is that there's no obnoxious mega notch above the display. The top bezel is pretty thick but it does house dual front-facing cameras and a mysterious sensor which could be Google's Project Soli radar chip for gesture controls. According to OnLeaks, the pace to the right of the call speaker could be where the Pixel 4 will feature the additional sensors needed for proper facial recognition. We still don't know if Google will be equipping the Pixel 4 with an in-display fingerprint sensor or if it will reply fully on biometric facial recognition for security.

Based on all the rumors and leaks, the Google Pixel 4 may turn out to be a pretty appealing device. We're hoping that the phone will have at least 6GB of RAM to keep pace with the competition, but the multi-camera setup will most likely be the key selling point for the Pixel 4.
