Get your wallets ready, the Samsung Galaxy Fold is coming back this September

Earlier this year, Samsung announced their first foldable smartphone in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The phone was originally supposed to be launched several months ago, but during the early reviews of the handset, it was discovered that there were some glaring quality and build issues that needed to be addressed.

It was unclear when the phone was expected to launch after that, but we have been hearing reports that its redesign is reportedly ready and good to go. Well, if you were eyeing the handset and are excited at the prospect of being an early adopter, you'll be pleased to learn that Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Fold will be making its return to the market this coming September.

The company has detailed some of the changes that they've made to the design and build quality, where they address some of the issues that were discovered earlier. This includes making sure that the top protective layer of the display is not meant to be removed, along with reinforcing the design to prevent external particles from getting in, while also adjusting the hinge area to be stronger.

According to Samsung:

"Along with these improvements, Samsung has also been continuously working to improve the overall Galaxy Fold user experience, including optimizing more apps and services for its unique foldable UX. Samsung is conducting final product tests to make Galaxy Fold available to consumers starting from September in select markets. Availability details will be shared as we get closer to the launch."

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding exact availability.
