The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones are expected to be launched later this year, and for the most part, if we had to guess, it's not that hard to figure out what kind of hardware both phones will be packing.
Given that they'll be flagships, there is a good chance that they'll come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipsets at the bare minimum, although we reckon that if Google truly wants to edge out the competition, equipping it with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ is probably the best idea.
While we have no idea what kind of chipset Google could be going with, the folks at BGR have managed to obtain some information on the upcoming phones, in which additional information like its display resolution and RAM have been revealed.
According to the report, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones are said to sport slightly larger displays than its predecessors. It will also have its resolution bumped up where the Pixel 4 could come with a resolution of 2280×1080, while the Pixel 4 XL is expected to come with a resolution of 3040×1440.
Both phones are also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM, an upgrade over the Pixel 3 smartphones which came with 4GB of RAM. Google had also previously confirmed the design of the phones in which another upgrade we can look forward to is the use of a dual camera system.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but it has been suggested that the phones could be announced in October, so we still have a bit of waiting to do before we get the official word.
