Samsung's Galaxy S10 smartphones are already poised to be the most popular Android smartphones of 2019, but Samsung's is also setting its eye on being the biggest player in 5G this year as well. According to a new leak, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is expected to land of Verizon's new 5G network on May 16. It's not clear is if Verizon would be bringing the phone to market before AT&T is able to offer it to its customers, but Samsung will start selling the Galaxy S10 5G in South Korea this week with the official retail launch on April 15.
If you're comparing the specs of the Galaxy S10 5G with those of the Galaxy S10+, the upcoming device will feature a slightly larger display (6.7-inches versus 6.3-inches), a battery that's 10% larger, a quad-camera setup on the back with an added ToF sensor and of course a 5G antenna and modem. What we don't know is what the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will sell for in the US. Based on the 1.39 million won price point of the phone in South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will likely carry a $1,200 price tag when it shows up on Verizon and AT&T.
