The Red BlackBerry KEY2 is now available from Amazon and BestBuy

If you've been patiently waiting for the BlackBerry KEY2 in red, the phone is now available from Amazon and BestBuy. Both retailers are selling the phone for $699.99. The Amazon product page is already live, but it seems BestBuy's web team is a bit slow today. While that price point is lower than what you'd pay for a flagship smartphone from Samsung these days, you're really paying for the privilege of having a QWERTY keyboard on the front of the phone.

The specs of the KEY2 include a 4.5-inch (1620 x 1080) display, a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, dual 12MP cameras on the back, an 8MP selfie camera, a 3500 mAh battery with Quick CHarge 3.0 support, 3.5mm headphone jack and built-in FM radio (something we don't see often). The phone has more than enough power to multi-task and get work done. The keyboard on the KEY2 is fantastic for those who prefer a physical keyboard for punching out emails on the go rather than tapping away at an on-screen keyboard.
