For the past few years, if you wanted to buy a Pixel smartphone from a carrier, Verizon was pretty much the only carrier you could choose from. Otherwise, you'd have to buy the handset fully unlocked and full priced from Google directly, but that could soon be set to change according to recent rumors.
According to new reports, T-Mobile could soon start selling the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. It won't be just those two phones either as it has also been reported that the carrier could be carrying the upcoming Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Google's rumored budget version of the Pixel 3 handsets.
As it stands, Google's Pixel 3 smartphones are already compatible on T-Mobile's network, meaning that the availability through the carrier means potentially being able to purchase the phone on an installment plan. The report also claims that T-Mobile is currently testing the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL for network compatibility, but we reckon that there shouldn't really be an issue.
Last we heard, the upcoming Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones are expected to be launched on the 7th of May. This means that if the reports are true and T-Mobile will carry them, it will probably be after that. There is no word on whether the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be launched at the same time, but hopefully, we will have the official word soon enough.
