We have no clue exactly what LG is planning to do with its upcoming flagship devices, but that doesn't mean that we aren't still seeing rumors and leaks regarding the LG G7. We aren't even sure if this is the final name of the device as LG confirmed its plans to change its naming scheme for future devices, as it plans to step back from the rigamarole of following a release schedule.
Nonetheless, a new render has leaked of the front panel for the LG G7, showing off even slimmer bezels than that of the LG G6 or LG V30. As you can see, the bezels on all four sides of the device have been slimmed down, with practically zero bezels on the sides.
Housed in the top bezel, we can see that the G7 will have dual selfie cameras, and it would not surprise us if LG introduced a new facial recognition or face unlock feature with the device. Unfortunately, there's not much else to go off of here, other than the speaker grille being placed directly at the top of the device, as is the case with just about every phone.
While this latest leak doesn't bring any information regarding specs, we know that the LG G7 will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset which will be coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. We are also expecting a dual-camera setup on the rear, similar to that of the two flagships released in 2017.
As stated above, we aren't sure about the final release date for the G7, but LG did confirm it would be coming in Q2 2018, so keep your eyes peeled as we learn more about this upcoming device. In the meantime, let us know what you think about the G7 in the comments below and if you're excited to see a new device with even slimmer bezels.
