Google's Android One program is still humming along nicely. The newest addition is the appropriately named Sharp Android One S3. This cute little device is waterproof, durable, and headed to the Japanese carrier Y! Mobile.
The One S3 has a 5-inch IGZO panel with 1080p resolution. Sharp is the only company using IGZO displays, which are made of crystalline oxide semiconductors. Basically, it's a very nice looking display. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 430, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The battery is 2,700 mAh and it's running Android Oreo.
This phone doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some Android One devices have. It doesn't have a fingerprint sensor and we don't if it used USB Type-C. The price works out to be around $300, which isn't terrible, but the Moto X4 costs the same and has more features.
