CES has become a show dominated by TVs and it should be no different this year. LG is set to show off a new lineup of OLED TVs powered by webOS, but they'll also include a Google feature. Alongside their own "ThinQ" voice assistant, LG will be including Google Assistant on the new OLED and Super UHD LCD TVs.
The obvious question is why have two voice assistants on a TV? LG ThinQ will be more useful for TV tasks like searching for a movie or turning the TV off. Google Assistant will be there for smart home stuff and Google search. Speaking of smart home, the ThinQ TVs will also be a smart home hub. All of this is powered by webOS, which is one of the best-integrated TV interfaces on the market.
