Massive leak reveals everything Huawei plans to unveil this week (phone, watch, fitness tracker & TV)

I think we can all agree that we enjoy a good leak, but sometimes the leaks take the fun out of a launch event. Tomorrows Huawei Mate 30 launch has officially been spiled by a new leak which highlights all of the products Huawei plans to show off alongside its new flagship smartphone. Accompanying the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro Porche Design, Android Headlines claims that the new Huawei Watch GT 2, an updated fitness tracker, Huawei TV and Huawei MediaPad M6 will be making appearances as well.

Huawei Watch GT 2

While the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be the star of the show, the company also plans to unveil the Huawei Watch GT 2 which will be available in four different styles/colors. The Watch GT 2 will also come in two different sizes: 42mm with a 1.2-inch (390 x 390) AMOLED display and 46mm with a 1.39-inch (454 x 454) AMOLED display, giving men and women the choice of a medium or large smartwatch. For a more precise look at their sizes, the two variants will measure 41.8 x 41.8 x 9.4mm and 45.9 x 45.9 x 10.7mm with a 20mm strap on the smaller option and a 22mm strap size for the larger Watch GT 2.

Both Watch GT 2 variants will include the new Kirin A1 chip with dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, gyro, geomagnetic, air pressure, and optical heart rate sensors and 5ATM certification which will allow them to withstand water pressures at a depth of 50m. The hope is that the Watch GT 2 will offer the same incredible battery life as the original.

Huawei Band 4 Pro

While Huawei's new fitness tracker is currently only known by it's "andes" internal code name, it's likely the successor to last year's Band 3 Pro and should hit the market at the Huawei Band 4 Pro. The complete spec list of the device hasn't yet been leaked, but we do know that the device will feature a heart rate tracker and a new SpO2 sensor which will allow the fitness tracker to measure the oxygen saturation in your blood, something rarely included in devices in this category. The design of the fitness tracker has been tweaked a bit as well, incorporating a USB A connection into the band which allows you to charge it directly with a standard wall charger rather than the proprietary charging cable that the previous Huawei fitness trackers shipped with.

Huawei TV

Huawei's Honor brand launched the company's first TV recently, but it looks like we'll be getting a 4K Huawei-branded TV as well which will be running on the company's HarmonyOS. Sizes and specifications of the Huawei TV lineup are unknown at this point, but the images of the TV show that it will feature a pop-up camera for video calling and may also offer impressive audio with a soundbar which appears to be attached below the screen.

Huawei MediaPad M6

The MediaPad M6 made its debut in China earlier this summer, but the device may finally be ready for its international debut. Based on the leaks, the Android tablet will likely come with the same software restrictions as the Chinese model since it would most likely note feature access to the Google Play Store and other Google services, due to the trade restrictions placed on Huawei by the US government. Hopefully, Huawei will be including an alternate app store to give users the option to install third-party applications on the tablet.
