When the Honor 9 Lite was announced toward the tail end of last year, we knew the device would be available in China, but other markets were still in question. After whisperings that the phone would also be headed to India, that information has now been confirmed by online retailed Flipkart who has posted a product page for the phone.
According to the listing, it seems Flipkart will have some sort of exclusivity on the phone (#OnlyOnFlipkart), so our friends in India looking to purchase the device will have to do it there. The Honor 9 Lite features a pretty impressive spec sheet for the price. You're looking at a 5.65-inch 18:9 FHD+ display, dual camera setup on the front and back (13MP+2MP for rear/front), Kirin 659 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, and a 3,000mAh battery. Doesn't sound very "lite" but that's a good thing.
According to the Chinese price, the phone should retail for around $180 for the base model, or $275 for the souped up version. No word on whether the Honor 9 Lite will reach further west or the company's plans for a US launch but we'll keep an eye out.
