If you're someone who enjoys the curved display of Samsung's smartphones and wished that more manufacturers who adopt the design, you could be in luck. This is because in an image shared to Weibo, it shows the alleged OnePlus 8 Pro prototype in the wild, where based on what we're seeing, it seems that the phone could be adopting a curved display.
Now, given that this is allegedly a prototype, it means that it could be subject to change upon its release, so maybe don't put too much stock into this for now. Interestingly enough, this prototype also seems to be favoring a vertical camera orientation, despite the fact that OnePlus gave the OnePlus 7T a circular camera cutout, but then again, this is supposed to be a prototype.
In addition to the curved display, there is text on the back of the phone that says "OnePlus 5G", hinting that the phone could be adopting 5G technology. Other rumored features of the upcoming phone include the use of a 120Hz refresh rate display, an upgrade over the 90Hz featured in its current phones.
We also imagine that it will probably be making use of Qualcomm's next-gen chipset, which is largely expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, but do take it with a grain of salt for now while we await additional details.
