Come 2020, Huawei is expected to continue pushing out flagship handsets, such as the Huawei P40 series that will launch in the early part of the year. Now thanks to freshly leaked renders by @OnLeaks and 91mobiles, we might have an idea of what the upcoming handset could look like.
According to the leaked renders, it seems that the phone could feature a curved display where it wraps slightly around the edge of the phone. While that seems to be in line with Huawei's design language, what stands out in these leaked renders is the camera module on the back, which looks massive.
If the rumors are to be believed, the P40 series will come with four cameras on the back, although exactly what kind of sensor combo we're looking at remains to be seen. In terms of size of the phone, the P40 will sport a display anywhere between 6.1-inches to 6.2-inches, while the P40 Pro could sport a display between 6.5-inches to 6.7-inches.
The renders are pretty dark so we can't really make out the rest of the phone, so take it with a grain of salt.
Huawei themselves have confirmed that the P40 series will be launching the early part of the year. The company had also previously confirmed that the phones will not launch with Google Play Services. Instead, they are expected to use Huawei's own mobile services, so if you were hoping that these issues would be resolved with the P40 phones, you might be disappointed.
