Sony Xperia 1 leak reveals the phone’s triple camera

The Sony Xperia 1 is set to be unveiled in a few hours at Mobile World Congress, but newly-leaked hands-on photos of the phone have just now surfaced, giving us a close look at the phone's overall design and its triple camera setup on the back.

The three photos don't leave much to the imagination, but we don't have any new accompanying details regarding the specifications of the phone. Based on previous leaks, we know that the Sony Xperia 1 is expected to feature a massive 6.-inch 4K display with a 21:9 aspect ratio with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It'll be powered by a Snapdragon 85 with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support up to 512GB of external storage.

For the phone's triple camera array, it should include three 12MP sensors which will be paired with a standard, telephoto and an ultra-wide angle lens. The phone will also feature an 8MP selfie camera. Sony will also be throwing in a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP68 dust and water resistance and a smallish 3,300 mAh battery.

While the phone will be making its debut at Mobile World Congress tomorrow morning, Sony isn't planning on selling the Xperia 1 until the middle of this year for over $1,000.
