The Google Pixel 3a was announced today at Google I/O 2019, and it's an intriguing device. Google cut a lot of corners to reach the base price of $399 but it claims it kept the amazing Pixel camera we all love.
The device features what seems to be the same 12.2MP sensor as the bigger and more expensive Pixel 3, but the sensor was never the star of the show when it came to Google phones. It's all about the software wizardry, and everything seems to be there. We have Night Sight, Super Res Zoom, portrait mode, and more.
Can a $400 smartphone compete with the flagships when it comes to the camera performance? And even more important, can Google's budget offering keep up with the top of the line Pixel 3? Take a look at the video and image gallery below and let us know what you think of the Pixel 3a's camera.
