Over the last few weeks, things haven't been good for owners of the BLU Life One X2. A random software update was pushed to devices which left some folks incapable of unlocking their devices.
After the update was released and downloaded by users, the complaints starting ramping up that a new passcode had been created on the phone, essentially locking users out. Some users are even claiming that the type of passcode has been changed, i.e. moving from a 4-digit pin code to an alphanumeric option.
Urgent: Life One X2 Lock Software Fix! 2/2
We will provide you with the software update that resolves the issue and grants you access to your device.
Note: This fix is only for users which haven't yet done a Factory Reset or exceeded the amount of pin attempts.

According to the company, a new update is incoming for owners of the Life One X2 which should make it possible for users to regain access to devices. However, this fix is only available for those who did not perform a factory reset, and did not exceed the number of pin attempts.
For everyone else, BLU simply asked you to send an email to its "Escalation" department to hopefully get everything rectified. While it's disheartening to see BLU wait so long to issue even a statement regarding the problems, at least owners of the Life One X2 should be able to get back into their devices.
Let us know if you have run into any of these issues and what steps you took to rectify the situation.
