Back in September, Amazon announced a series of new Echo devices to bring more connectivity to your home. One of those was the Echo Spot, which is designed to be a replacement alarm clock and bedside assistant for most people. The device has been available for pre-order since the end of September, but it officially launched today.
The new $130 device has proved popular with shoppers, however, since it's now back-ordered on launch day. You can still order the device, but Amazon's expected shipping date is now after Christmas on December 28th. The Echo Spot is currently available in Black and White colors and features a 2.5″ screen for displaying video calls, weather, your alarms, todos, and more.
