It seems that December is Honor's favorite month, as the company has unveiled yet another device at an event in China. After passing through TENAA certifications earlier this month, the Honor 9 Lite has been made official and offers a decent set of specs to help turn some heads.
The highlight of the Honor 9 Lite is its 5.65-inch display which features a FullHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the Honor 9 Lite is Huawei's Kirin 659 processor coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage.
Surprisingly, Huawei and Honor have decided to include the same dual-camera setup on both the front and rear of the Honor 9 Lite. The device features a primary 13MP sensor, along with a secondary 2MP sensor which will likely help with creating portrait photos with the cameras on either side.
Finally, the Honor 9 Lite comes equipped with a 3,000mAh battery which seems a bit disappointing but does include Huawei's Super Charge technology. The 9 Lite also features the latest version of Emotion UI which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The device will launch in China on December 26th and will be coming to other regions such as India, Russia, and the UK at a later date. Pricing for the base model 3GB/32GB will start at ~$182, and the top-of-the-line 4GB/64GB model will be priced ~$273.
