Do you remember the days of absurdly large smartphones which were unwieldy and were essential tablets made for on the go? Well, I do, and I'm more than happy to see that OEM's have moved away from those days.
Unfortunately, it seems that won't be the case for too much longer, as a new report claims that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will feature a 7-inch display. The device is said to feature a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, which means smaller bezels and a bigger screen.

The rumor also claims that the Mi Max 3 will come equipped with a dual-camera setup, and a rather amazing 5,500mAh battery. The device is going to need a battery that big if it wants users to be able to go more than a few hours before needing to top off.
Finally, it seems that there will be two different variants of the Mi Max 3, as the first will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, while the other variant will feature the Snapdragon 660. We don't know any more specifics about the amount of RAM or storage, nor do we know just how well these cameras will perform.
Barring a surprise announcement from Xiaomi in the coming weeks, the Mi Max 3 could still be a few months away, as the device's predecessor, the Mi Max 2, was announced in May of 2017. Let us know whether you would consider a 7-inch device as your daily driver, or do you think this may be the beginning of manufacturer's getting out of hand with display sizes yet again.
