Samsung hasn't always been the quickest to release major Android updates to its smartphones, but that may change this year. The company has announced that its One UI 2 Beta with Android 10 will soon be available for testing. The exact date of the rollout is still up in the air, but Samsung has made it clear that Galaxy S10, S10e and S10+ owners in the US using Sprint, T-Mobiel and unlocked variants of the phone should keep an eye out in the Samsung Members app for a banner announcing the release.
According to Android Police, the One UI 2 Beta with Android 10 will make its debut in the US and South Korea later this month for both the Galaxy S10 and Note10 devices.
While Google, OnePlus and a few others have already released Android 10 updates for their smartphones, seeing Samsung release a beta build of the new version of Android this early is really good news. We have no clue what Samsung's release roadmap looks like, but if things go well with the beta, we suspect Samsung could release the update at least a month or two sooner than when last year's flagship devices did.
Is that too much to ask?
