Leaked OnePlus 6T image debunks triple-camera rumors

A lot of people are eagerly awaiting the launch of the OnePlus 6T. The phone isn't expected to be more powerful than the wildly-successful OnePlus 6, but rumors have claimed that the phone would feature an improved camera setup with a total of three sensors on the back of the phone. Unfortunately, a new image of the OnePlus 6T has leaked, revealing that the phone will only sport two rear camera sensors. Of course, every rumor should be taken with a grain of salt, but at this point, we're not sure which rumor to believe. At least the image in question doesn't show a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor since OnePlus has officially stated that the phone will feature an in-display sensor.

Aligning the OnePlus 6T leaked image with that of the OnePlus 6 shows that the new device will either be slightly taller than the previous model or its camera module will be positioned slightly lower. Either way, cases for the OnePlus 6 will likely not fit the OnePlus 6T, especially since cases for the upcoming device will not feature a fingerprint cutout on the back.

Is the lack of a triple-camera module on the OnePlus 6T a deal breaker for you? Share your thoughts in the comments.
